  NEWSLETTER August 2010

Well a full year has gone by since we have been up and running the website.  It has been interesting as well as educational, just realizing that people around the world can access City Welding through the World Wide Web.

As everyone is aware, there have been many changes that have gone on during the past year.

The Paint Booth is up and ready to go.  Just waiting for some final Certificates to officially turn the “ON” button on.  Unfortunately this is not the case for the Air Blast Booth.  As few speed bumps have been thrown our way.  Patience is a virtue and we will prevail.

Our Centralized Gas System is however up and running.  This has cut down on the physical aspect of the job as well as making the shop more efficient.

Office Renovations are at a stand still.  Major road block but we have a great team working on the project.

New Addition to our Team

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Mr. Phil St. Jean back as a Supervisor/Welder-Fitter.  His first day at work was June 21, 1989.  He was young full of spunk and the willingness to learn.  He did leave City Welding for a small period of time but has since returned.  He brings his knowledge and experience to his job and we welcome him back.

It has been trying times with the Vale Inco strike and last years economic downturn but we survived and look forward to serve our customers for another year.

Sincerely,

Georges Brouillette
President
