Holiday Hours
We will be closing for the holidays starting Thursday December 24, 2009 at noon returning to our regular hours Monday January 4, 2010. There are exceptions and special arrangements can be made for limited services during the holidays.
Projects CNC BURN TABLE - MESSER TITAN II
We are very excited to announce that our new CNC Messer Titan II is operational. Along with our new MTC ProNest 2010 software, our burn table is the latest and greatest in plasma and oxy fuel cutting in Ontario, and certainly in Northern Ontario. There are less than 15 Hypertherm HPR 400 High Definition power sources currently in Canada, and our table consists of 2 of these power sources. As previously reported, we can edge start 3” and pierce 2” mild steel. We also have the capability to plasma cut aluminum and stainless. More importantly however, our 2 plasma torches are high definition and utilise ProNest’s true hole technology for superior plasma cut quality in addition to a 300% increase in travel speed. We will be holding an open house in February 2010 to showcase our table. Please email our Office Clerk, Armand Cardinal at armand@cityweldingsudbury.ca if you wish to attend. PAINTING & SANDBLASTING FACILITY
Our new 6,000 sq. ft. sandblasting & painting facility is well underway despite the cold temperature. The building should be closed in within days and the paint and sandblast facilities to install. We anticipate that these facilities will be largely completed by our open house. We remind you all to visit of our new website at www.cityweldingsudbury.ca.
