Projects
CNC Burn Table - MESSER TITAN II
As announced in our June 2009 Newsletter, several projects were in the planning stage. We have made great strides since June and have since ordered our new CNC Profile Cutting Table which will be operational November 9, 2009 and will consist of 2 oxy fuel and 2 plasma torches with an increased effective cutting surface of 12’ x 30’.
Our new Messer Titan II table will increase our cutting capabilities & quality dramatically. Our plasma torches are powered by 2 Hypertherm HPR 400 High Definition and along with our new MTC Pronest 2010 software, we will be able to edge start 3” mild steel and pierce 2”. We will also be able to cut aluminum and stainless as we do currently with a much greater cut quality. Also, our new CNC table has a travel speed of 1,000 inches per minute as compared to 300 inches with our current table.
Please note that our CNC table will be out of service from Monday October 26 to Monday November 9, 2009. Also, we will host an open house early 2010 to showcase our new table and will advise of a date in our next Newsletter.
PAINTING & SANDBLASTING FACILITY
We broke ground last week & commenced building our new 6,000 sqr foot sandblasting & painting facility. We anticipate the building to be erected by early November and our painting and sandblasting facilities in operation early 2010.
Please visit our new website at www.cityweldingsudbury.ca and watch for our next Newsletter which will include the date for our Open House.
Sincerely,
